If I'm ordering up I'm a bit more careful (not gonna order up on 9 10 Q with crap offsuit, however I would brave that if I were calling), and of course if I'm dealer's left I make sure that my hand doesn't support another call before ordering up. If you are very likely to take 4 tricks by yourself, try it alone. If you have 2 including the right bower, call it. My general strategy for calling if the flip card has been turned down, or for picking up: If you have 3+ of a suit, call it. This means fewer times I make 4 points off my alone calls, and I get Euchred more than the bots, however you can see that I make more tricks/points per hand than the bots do. You can see that I call a lot more often than the bots do, and go alone more often (however I play where if you order up your partner you have to go alone, so that inflates that number a bit, but it evens out when compared to the bots).
Here are the game settings I play with (since this is how I play IRL):, I didn't try messing around with the partner aggressiveness slider. After playing 100 games, I have a 61% win rate, so it has smoothed out quite a bit but I am still ahead of the curve. I decided to grind out as many as I could quickly to get a larger sample size. In the post they said the AI was very good, that if you turned it to maximum difficulty it was very hard to get over 50% win rate with a large sample (500+ games). Anyway, I wanted to share some of my experience with it.
